SIMILE TimelineをWordPressで使う

TimelineのAPIを利用するためのScriptタグの位置がエラーの原因になるようです。

When script files, often generated by PHP, are marked up in the body the following error occurs:

Error: Failed to derive URL prefix for Timeline API code filters

The following solution has been documented but this means downloading and installing source files locally. Can this fix be applied to the source files?
